We are proud to announce that we have added an exciting laser treatment to our practice to help you look and feel your best. The new CoolTouch® laser treatment takes anti-aging technology to a new level with its uniquely gentle and effective approach.
Unlike other laser skin resurfacing procedures, the CoolTouch® process eliminates the weeks of intense recovery and literally lets patients enjoy the benefits of a laser facial treatment on their lunch hour. With this new procedure, there is no injection, no lingering redness, and no tenderness. Just smoother, younger looking skin.
The treatment is done using a protective cryogen spray that actually cools the skin, allowing the laser to penetrate deeper in the dermis. This cooling protects the sensitive surface skin layer and nerve endings, while the laser light stimulates the fibroblasts deep in the dermis where new collagen is generated. After just a few treatments, you will see your skin become smoother and the signs of aging beginning to fade away. The process is most effective on the fine lines around the eyes and mouth, where the collagen has become less elastic. It is also proving useful to treat acne scars. Results are very natural.
Treatments take only 15 - 30 minutes, and you can continue your normal activities immediately. In clinical studies, after two treatments, patients saw a 25% resolution of fine lines and wrinkles in as few as six to eight weeks. CoolTouch® treatment is offered at a fraction of the price of traditional laser resurfacing, patients can afford to have touch-up treatments every 6 - 12 months to continue the development of new collagen.
